PIPE CLAMPS, TRIMMER AND HEATER ARE ALL HYDRAULICALLY ACTUATED AND PART OF THE AUTOMATIC JOINTING SEQUENCE. The Fast 630 uses the same basic control system as the smaller machines but in addition includes pipe clamping and trimmer placement as part of the automatic cycle.Hydraulic cylinders provide all clamping, latching and lifting forces. Operator control is via a hand held console. |
FEATURES
- Hydraulic clamping and trimmer / heater loading make it the most user friendly machine (currently available) in the market
- The automatic hydraulic trim cycle incorporates a 'feathering' operation to give clean, square pipe ends
- Pipe slippage is monitored automatically and the operator is prompted to visually inspect pipe alignment by means of the 'CHECK CYCLE'
- Designed with independent chassis, power pack and hand held controller for optimum manoeuvreability
- Automatic interlock between correct heater temperature and the jointing cycle will not let you make a joint with an incorrect heater temperature
- Repearable dwell time of under 4 seconds helps produce quality joints and opens the door for 'faster welding' with revised jointing parameters. A heated pipe end typically loses 3~5°C per second in normal ambient conditions. All the more reason to make the joint quickly!
- Welding parameters are pre-programmed into the controller facilitating the introduction of new welding profiles for"special processes" e.g. dual pressure welding
- A security immobiliser restricts access to authorised operators only
- Joint records are stored and can be downloaded via data transfer onto a PC for network analysis or digital mapping
- Software and facia available in a variety of language
- Hydraulic pipe ejectors aid removal of joined pipe
- 3 phase 415V power supply required
- Complete in-built diagnostic system
